AWOL
All is not last I am back from being dishonourably discharged. Apologies to the millions that have been waiting with bated breath but I truly do not have any excuse really. So here we are again and a lot has changed since the last post and I am scared to look to see just how long ago it was. Well it is the first week in of the summer holidays and it has not been too bad, really. I mean I can't be too stressed as there is still 5 weeks to go, 3 days 21 hours......only joking. I am still without a car but to be honest I am not sure where we could go. I looked on the chessington world of adventures (pure fun for all the family) and worked out that it would cost the best part of £100 spondulas. I never considered all the problems I would encounter when the kids started to appear and I cannot even go there when I think about teenagers, its kind of like fingers down the chalk board. I am sure all will be ok; (I am rocking). Anyway the moment it is peaceful and then I start typing and BAM one child requests that she wants to go to America to meet Dylan Sprouse (Zack from Suite Life of Zack and Cody) - no chance, and another child wants a biscuit - slightly more chance. I tell you, speak to any person with kids and they will say exactly the same thing, that the moment you sit down or are on the phone, the house erupts into chaos. And then calm sweeps over the house well, momentarily anyway. I have had to ban the older child from watching disney channel as she has turned into an American. Don't get me wrong, I love America and one of my close friends was born in the good ole USA but I cannot handle, 'yathink' courtesy of Hannah Montana. I do apologise for all those who have not had the pleasure of disney channel but for the sake of your mentality its best if you hide the remote control.UPDATE; second from youngest child is throwing wipes at second oldest child, god sometimes I have to hide my face from laughing as trust me, laughing when a child has come to grass on another child, smirking, does not go down well.
